Our practice provides a
full range of primary vision care services in office and has a
working relationship with many other vision care providers that
provide additional services.
Routine Eye Examination
All routine eye
examinations include a complete evaluation of the ocular health
and refraction to determine the need, if any, for prescription
lens. During the ocular health evaluation process, you will be
checked for cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and
all other ocular diseases and injuries. In some
instances, it will be necessary to dilate your eyes to facilitate a
complete evaluation of the ocular health. When warranted,
additional ancillary tests may also be recommended in order to
provide a more complete "picture" of the overall health of your
visual system.
Contact Lens Fitting Disposables,
torics (for astigmatism), extended wear, Rigid Gas Permeables,
bifocal lenses (both soft and RGP), color enhancing lenses,
keratoconic lenses, reverse geometry lenses, monovision lens
fittings.... the latest techniques and technologies are available
through our office. Two of the most innovative contact lens
manufacturers in the USA are Acuvue and Ciba. Use the links
below to check out some of their special contact lens
features.

Ocular Disease Management As a Therapeutic Optometrist, Dr. Phillips
treats diseases and injuries of the anterior segment of the
eye, ranging in nature from the common "pink eye" bacterial
conjunctivitis to more serious anterior uveitis infections and minor
anterior segment injuries. In more severe cases of ocular
infections or in cases of disease such as glaucoma, you may be
referred to a specialist for co-management services. We
work with a variety of specialists in the area. The links
below will lead you to web sites for some of the specialists that we
commonly refer to.

Lasik Consultation services An important
part of our practice is the provision of consultation services for
various modes of refractive services. Lasik surgery, currently
the most popular of all refractive surgeries, is a very serious
undertaking. It is extremely important that you choose your
surgeon wisely, based on your particular needs, not upon the
intensity of advertising you hear or the vast numbers of surgeries
performed. Since you have only one pair of eyes, look for a
surgeon who stresses quality of care, not quantity of
surgeries. Before you decide on any refractive surgery,
schedule a refractive surgery consultation with our office to review
your options. The results will be worth it! For more
in-depth Lasik information, refer to the following link.

Though we do not manufacture of sell
eyeglasses or contact lenses, we can help you make the right choice
on where to purchase your eyewear needs. Quality of goods
should always be the first criterion. Beyond that, you may
need to focus on best pricing, quickest delivery time or even most
convenient shopping environment. Our office, EYE + CLINIC, is
located next to Macy's on the lower level of Collin Creek
Mall, Plano, Texas.
